This is an appeal to all those who produce art and craft creations.

Faced with the tragedy happened two nights ago in Abruzzo we are all dismayed and helpless.
But one thing we can do together: to provide our art and our manual for the unfortunate inhabitants of that region.
Here's my idea: I would like to organize a charity event that collects artifacts from all over Italy and donates the proceeds to help the earthquake victims. It will be a great hobby exposure at the national level, an opportunity for all lovers of creativity to contribute with a small gesture to help those most in need. We will give the event adequate publicity through print and, if possible, the local media to encourage the influx of buyers donors.
My intention is to find an organization that handles a sort of auction to the general public and to ensure that the entire proceeds to the victims of the earthquake.
We put the goods, their space and resources.
Obviously, prices should be contained and accessible to all, the shipping costs charged to each bidder. Nobody should feel obliged, and each may, in its decision to decide what, if anything to send, depending on the time available and the commitments made: the important thing is that products are HANDMADE because, for this reason, acquire more value for those who receive them and give more originality to the exhibition and the event itself.
I, personally, I have a potential contact to whom to address my request: the parish of Our Lady of Loreto in Cremona, my hometown. In the coming days the pastor will explain my action, if so, after Easter I will inform you and give you all the guidelines for membership. Otherwise, I ask each of you to seek a viable alternative. I stress again the fact
reliability: there are many people eager to help, but there are also many scammers. It 'important that everything that we can create that has a value even smaller can actually go and help these people, and not to enrich the pockets of someone else without scruples and dignity.
I appeal therefore to all of you who are reading: Please forward this appeal on your blog, promote the initiative. The more we are the better. Unity is strength, roll up our sleeves and stand up after the disaster.
